Ex-ING Investment Management senior research analyst Vanessa Thomson has joined boutique fixed-interest asset management business Altius Asset Management, Financial Standard reports. Thomson has been appointed the new head of credit research at Altius AM.
At ING, Thomson was also head of risk and business strategy. Thomson has formerly also held role at Macquarie Bank in London in project and structured finance. Altius was set up last year as a joint venture between its principals and Australian Unity Investments, and launched its first fund in July.
