John Lister has been named U.K. chief risk officer of London-based, global insurance provider Aviva. Lister substitutes Craig Thornton, who was named U.K. commercial director earlier this month.
Lister will be reporting to new U.K. CEO Trevor Matthews and will have an independent functional reporting line to Aviva’s chief risk officer Robin Spencer. Lister, who joined Aviva as a newly qualified actuary, has worked in various capacities in the firm for 25 years.
