Brazilian asset manager BRZ Investimentos is seeking to raise at least $378 million for two funds, Bloomberg reports. The firm intends to start a $291million private equity fund that will invest in ports, highways, storage and cargo transportation as well as a fund of at least $87.3 million focusing on asset-backed securities.

The Sao Paulo–based company already has an infrastructure private equity fund of about $291 million invested in companies such as ALL America Latina Logistica’s Brado Logistica unit. The new products will meet demand for infrastructure assets and extend protection against inflation. The company, which was spun off from GP Investments in 2006, has approximately $2 billion under management.
