Ireland-based financial services firm XL Group has added Suzanne Labarge to its board of directors. She has previously served as vice chairman and chief risk officer at Royal Bank of Canada’s (RBC) Financial Group, where she managed enterprise-wide risk and was on the group’s executive management committee.
Labarge has served for 25 years at RBC in different capacities. She has also been part of the Canadian government, where she was an assistant auditor general and deputy superintendent in the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada.
