SEC Appoints DV Policy Associate Director

U.S. federal agency Securities and Exchange Commission has appointed Brian Bussey as associate director for derivatives policy and trading practices in its trading and markets division.

U.S. federal agency Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has appointed Brian Bussey as associate director for derivatives (DV) policy and trading practices in its trading and markets division, Mondo Visione reports. The office of derivatives policy and trading practices is leading the division’s efforts to implement the derivatives rules of the Dodd-Frank Act and also manages administration of Regulation SHO.

Bussey was working as associate director for trading practices and processing in the same division since September, 2009. He occupied the post of assistant chief counsel in the division from 2003 to 2009. He joined the SEC in 1998.
