Sri Lanka EPF Boosts Equity Investments

The Employees’ Provident Fund has boosted its stock market investments.

The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) has boosted its stock market investments, Lanka Business Online reports. The Sri Lankan fund had previously limited its investments in stocks to 5 percent.

EPF’s total assets may reach $9.07 billion by the end of 2011. The assets of the fund, whose major part has been invested in government securities, had grown 14.6 percent annually.
