Mutual life insurance company Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. (MassMutual) has selected its chief enterprise risk officer Elizabeth Ward as executive vice president. Ward, who has been working as risk chief since November 2007, was previously senior vice president.
Ward is also a part MassMutual’s executive leadership team. Previously, she was with Babson Capital Management, a MassMutual unit, American Skandia, Aeltus Investment Management and Aetna Life & Casualty. She is a founding member and vice chair of the North American CRO Council as well as chair of the American Council of Life Insurers’ Global Solvency Coordinating Deputies Group.
