SBI Mutual Fund is launching the SBI Capital Protection Oriented Fund - Series IV, India Infoline reports. The two year closed-end capital protection-oriented fund, which offers growth and dividend options, is benchmarked against the Crisil MIP Blended Index.
The scheme aims to protect the capital invested on maturity of the scheme through focused investments in equity debt and money market instruments at the same time. The scheme will allocate 75 percent to 100 percent in debt and debt-related instruments as well as money market instruments, while the remaining will be invested in equity and equity-related instruments, including derivatives.
