Goldman Sachs Group is looking to acquire Indonesian brokerage Tiga Pilar Sekuritas.

Goldman Sachs Group is looking to acquire Indonesian brokerage Tiga Pilar Sekuritas, The Wall Street Journal reports. The purchase will enable the U.S. bank to obtain a brokerage license in Indonesia, which it currently does not have.

Goldman intends to complete the acquisition before the end of 2011, adds Reuters. It has completed due diligence for Tiga Pilar and both firms are now discussing the deal’s structure as well as valuation.
