The Deaconess Foundation has appointed Starsky Wilson as president and CEO. He will take over from Jerry Paul, who has announced his retirement. Paul has led the foundation since 1997.
Wilson has been pastor of St. John’s United Church of Christ for three years. He has also held other leadership roles on the staffs of the United Way of Greater St. Louis and African-American theater company Providence Black Repertory Co.
