BlackRock has rolled out an emerging market equity fund within its Luxembourg Sicav range, Financial Times reports. The BlackRock Global Funds Emerging Markets Equity Income Fund will aim to outperform the MSCI Emerging Markets Equity index over a full economic cycle. The portfolio will be managed by Dhiren Shah, co-head of the London-based global emerging markets team, and will look to generate a minimum yield of 30 percent above the benchmark index yield. The team will focus on investing in companies that are paying above average dividends and have sustainable franchises.
