First Derivatives, which provides software and consulting services to the capital markets industry, has set up a dedicated data management solutions division. The firm has appointed senior professionals, some from GoldenSource, to run the new unit.
Bob Wolfert will manage the division’s product/SaaS operations, development, implementation, support and key accounts, and Bret Bange will manage global sales, business development and tactical marketing. Marc Odho will handle global data management consulting, while Philip Dodds will be technical lead and architect.
