Pantheon has paid $400 million for investor interests in private equity funds this year, Financial News reports. The private equity investor acquired 46 private equity funds from a single U.K. institution.
The acquisition, which was completed in July, will give provide the firm with exposure to about 400 portfolio companies. Pantheon funded the acquisition through its dedicated secondaries funds and listed vehicle, Pantheon International Participations.
