poLight has raised $18.5 million in round B venture capital funding. The micro optics components developer intends to extend the funding round to $24.5 million in the second part of the year with additional investors joining the consortium.
Investor based in Trondheim, Norway, led the transaction. Existing shareholders, including Viking Venture III, Alliance Venture Polaris and SINTEF Venture III also participated in the round.
