The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will initially have at least 5-10 companies listed on its planned SME Exchange, Financial Express reports. BSE is due to roll out its new platform in September this year.

On May 25, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) had given in-principle nod to the bourse’s proposal to launch a dedicated SME platform, adds Economic Times. SEBI had in 2010 come out with guidelines for dedicated SME exchanges.
