UTI Mutual Fund has extended the new fund offer (NFO) closure period for the UTI - Fixed Term Income Fund - Series IX - VI (368 Days), India Infoline reports. The fund, which was schedule to close on June 30, 2011, will now close on July 4, 2011.
The investment goal of the scheme is to make returns by investing in a portfolio of fixed income securities maturing on or before the date of maturity of the scheme. The units are scheduled to mature on July 6, 2012.
