Westpac Banking has received final approval from authorities to start a new branch in Beijing, China, The Wall Street Journal reports. The new branch will be the second for the Australian lender in the country. The lender is also planning to open two more branches in China. Westpac set up its first China branch in Shanghai in 2008.
