Michigan Municipal Employees’ Retirement System has completed a partial acquisition of Irving Magee Investment Management, Pensions & Investments reports. The retirement system has acquired the 30% ownership stake in the emerging manager.
The financial details of the operating agreement have not been disclosed. Michigan Municipal capital will be providing the working capital to the manager for general corporate purposes. It will not be paying a fixed sum for the equity stake.
