Goldman Sachs private equity funds will acquire a 19.9% stake in Enstar Group.

Goldman Sachs private equity funds will acquire a 19.9% stake in Enstar Group, Reuters reports. GS Capital Partners will pay around $291.6 million to Enstar that invests in insurance and reinsurance companies and portfolios. GS Capital will also be entitled to buy another 2% of the Bermuda-based company through exercising warrants. The investment would be completed in three tranches, adds RTT News.
