Allianz Global Investors has closed its Allianz NFJ Small-Cap Value Fund, MutualFundWire reports. The fund will not be available to participants in certain benefit plans, including 401(k)s, 457s, 403(b)s, defined benefit and 529s.
Allianz had closed the fund to new investors in April 2009 and to all investors except those in 401(k) and other savings plans in August 2009. The 401(k) plans, which may continue to invest in the fund, have not been specified.
