Citi Securities Vet Joins XBRL Board

Citi Global Transaction Services and XBRL U.S. have appointed Alan Smith as the board of directors of XBRL U.S., the nonprofit consortium for XBRL business reporting standards in the U.S.

Citi Global Transaction Services and XBRL U.S. have appointed Alan Smith as the board of directors of XBRL U.S., the nonprofit consortium for XBRL business reporting standards in the U.S. In his present role at Citi, Smith is in charge Citi’s Agency and Trust and Depositary Receipts businesses. He served as managing director of Citi Securities and Fund Services (SFS). Smith joined SFS in 1990 and has been responsible for various businesses across its issuer, intermediary and investor segments.
