Jefferies has appointed Michael Old as managing director for its real estate investment banking unit. In his new role, Old will be based in the London office of the global securities and investment banking firm. Old has joined from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was a managing director in the European real estate structured finance group. Prior to this, he was an executive director in the real estate investment banking group at NM Rothschild and Sons.
