Walgreen will acquire online retailer, Drugstore.com, for about $429 million, The Wall Street Journal reports. Walgreen will give Drugstore.com shareholders $3.80 in cash for each share of stock, adds Chicago Tribune. The company is planning to fund the acquisition with existing cash. The deal is expected to be completed by the end of June 2011.
