Exchange-traded funds (ETF) provider, Global X Funds, has launched the first ETF in Argentina. The Global X FTSE Argentina 20 ETF provides a relatively cost effective way to access the South American nation. The portfolio tracks the FTSE Argentina 20 Index, which represents the performance of the 20 most liquid companies that directly participate in the Argentine economy. As of February 22, the three largest components for the index were Tenaris, MercadoLibre and Banco Macro.
