Friends Provident International is launching two new mirror funds, Fund Strategy reports. The Alquity Africa and Pictet Environmental Megatrend Selection will be aimed at investors with an interest in African frontier markets and global environment sustainability.
The Alquity Africa fund, which launched a sterling share class in June 2010, is an open-ended Ucits III fund that can invest in nine countries and 12 sectors, while the Environmental Megatrend Selection fund looks for opportunities in water, clean energy, timber and agriculture.
