Tullett Prebon has joined the London Metal Exchange (LME) as a category two member, Reuters reports. The category two associate broker members of the LME are not allowed to trade in the ring. Separately, Fortis Bank has resigned from LME as a category 4 member. Fortis, which was allowed to issue LME contracts, was not a member of the clearing house and was not allowed to trade in the ring.
