Société Générale is looking to appoint about 10 new traders in the U.S. in the next five months.

Société Générale is looking to appoint about 10 new traders in the U.S. in the next five months, Financial News reports. The bank is seeking to expand its electronic equities business, as part of the expansion of its equity and fixed-income business in the U.S.

The traders will be hired for the bank’s New York operations. SocGen will hire high-touch traders, who will handle and execute orders and electronic sales traders, who will design and build algorithms.
