McDonald’s Franchisee Plans IPO

McDonald’s global franchisee, Arcos Dorados, is planning to launch an initial public offering.

McDonald’s global franchisee, Arcos Dorados, is planning to launch an initial public offering (IPO), Financial Times reports. Though the size of the IPO has not been disclosed, it is expected to be nearly $1 billion.

The company has appointed Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan as underwriters for the offering. Arcos Dorados has about 1,800 restaurants in Latin America and has operations in 19 countries, including Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Brazil.
