Professional services company, Towers Watson, has acquired non-life consulting and software company, EMB. As per the agreement, EMB will transfer its staff, physical assets, software and intellectual property to become a part of Towers Watson’s global risk consulting and software business. The former managing partner of EMB, Rory O’Brien, will manage Towers Watson’s insurance management consulting practice. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
