The Turkish government has received bids from eight groups to advise on its proposed stake sale of Turkish Airlines.

The Turkish government has received bids from eight groups to advise on its proposed stake sale of Turkish Airlines, Reuters reports. The eight consortiums to bid are Citigroup, BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Merrill Lynch, UniCredit and UBS. The government owns a 49.12% stake in Turkish Airlines valued at about $3.4 billion. The amount of the stake to be sold and the method of sale have not been disclosed.
