Banks Prep $4 Bln CMBS

Deutsche Bank, UBS and JPMorgan Chase are said to be preparing issues of commercial mortgage-backed securities totaling $4 billion, reports Bloomberg.

Deutsche Bank, UBS and JPMorgan Chase are said to be preparing issues of commercial mortgage-backed securities totaling $4 billion. Sources said Deutsche Bank and UBS have partnered for $2.5 billion of CMBS linked to loans on office buildings, shopping malls and hotels, while JPM is planning a similar, $1.5 billion issue. The Deutsche Bank/UBS offer would be the largest of its kind since June 2008, when the market froze.
