Cequel Communications Holdings has raised a total of $625 million in a sale of senior notes.

Cequel Communications Holdings has raised a total of $625 million in a sale of senior notes. The bonds of the U.S. cable broadband company, which carry a coupon rate of 8.62%, will mature on Nov. 15, 2017. Cequel may use the proceeds from the offering to fund the acquisition of NPG Cable, to repay its complete original capital contributions made by holders of its preferred interests and for general corporate purposes. The joint book-running managers for the sale were Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan, adds Reuters.
