Credit Suisse has added two staffers to asset-backed securities research to juice up focus on home equity issuers and servicers. Sharon Greenberg has taken a v.p. slot and Wen Zhang an associate position. The additions take the team headcount to nine

Greenberg comes from Fitch Ratings, where she was a senior director focusing on subprime and alternative-A new issue originations and reported to Glenn Costello and Joanne Sokolowski, co-heads of the residential mortgage-backed securities group, Costello said. Zhang joins from Moody’s Investors Service where she reported to David Teicher, a managing director in the RMBS group. Zhang and Teicher did not return phone calls by press time.

Additionally, long-time ABS researcher Chris Fenske recently left the strategy group for credit ABS trading. He reported to Rod Dubitsky, the group’s head, and now reports to Albert Sohn and Neal Roodin. Fenske said the move was prompted by a desire for change after five years in strategy. Sohn declined comment.
