Fund managers considered longtime favorites of Morningstar have been named managers of the year in their respective categories by the fund tracker. Winning the domestic-stock fund category were Christopher David and Kevin Charles Feinberg of Davis Selected Advisers’ Selected American Shares and David NY Ventures A. Grabbing the top stop in the international stock fund category were Robert Lyon, Matthew Pickering and Jerrold Senser of ICAP International. And Tad Rivelle, Laird Landmann, Stephen Kane and David Lippman brought home fixed-income honors to Metropolitan West Total Return Bond. Runners-up in the above respective categories were the team at Dodge & Cox Stock Fund (domestic), James Moffett of UMB Scout WorldWide (international) and Jeffrey Gundlach of TCW Galileo Total Return Bond (fixed income).
