YPF
YPF, also known as Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales, is active in Argentina’s upstream and downstream oil and gas sectors, from exploration and production to transportation, refining and distributing petroleum products, petrochemicals and biofuels. At the end of 2014, the Buenos Aires-based company had stakes in 110 oil and gas fields with proven reserves of 674 million barrels of oil and 3,016 billion cubic feet of gas. YPF was founded in 1922 and has more than 14,000 employees.
