U.K. Mortgage Lending Looks Flat For 2011

Mortgage lending in the U.K. this year looks like a carbon copy of 2010, according to the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries.

Mortgage lending in the U.K. this year looks like a carbon copy of 2010, according to the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries. In its quarterly bulletin, the AMI did suggest, however, that the second half of the year may see an uptick in activity “if the government decides it needs to encourage more support for first-time buyers.”
