The fund Muirfield Capital Global Advisors set up to invest in much-beleaguered housing giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac was one of the best-performing funds of 2019.
Muirfield GSE Partners, which was launched in 2017, ended the year up 67.37 percent, making it the second-best performer on the hedge fund scorecard published weekly by investment bank HSBC.
