Hans Haywood, a former emerging markets manager at the defunct hedge fund Sailfish Capital Partners, has launched an emerging markets macro fund at Panda Global Advisors, a firm which he set up with former colleagues from Credit Suisse. The Panda Global Master Fund launched April 1 with $20 million, and the partners expect to raise an additional $50 million by June, with a target of $100 million set for the end of the year.
