Hg Capital has made a cash bid of £153 million to acquire web hosting company Group NBT, Financial Times reports. Group NBT has suggested a 550 pence per share offer to its shareholders. The offer was made through the private equity firm’s investment vehicle Newton Bidco. The transaction is secured by Group NBT’s four investors who own a 33 percent stake of the company.
