Dallas Police & Fire Invests In Funds

The Dallas Police & Fire Pension System has invested $50 million in Lone Star Capital Opportunities V, a distressed debt and equity fund assets.

The Dallas Police & Fire Pension System has invested $50 million in Lone Star Capital Opportunities V, a distressed debt and equity fund assets, Pensions & Investments reports. The pension system has also allocated $25 million to Levine Leichtman Capital Partners Deep Value II, a distressed debt fund. The $3.2 billion system has committed $49 million in all to three other Lone Star funds and $25 million to Levine Leichtman Capital Partners IV. Separately, the system has also contributed $20 million to BankCap Partners, a private equity firm that invests in the financial services sector, and $17 million to BankCap Partners Fund I.
