Personal Capital has secured $25 million of venture capital financing. The investment round includes a series A round led by Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) and a series B round led by Venrock with participation from IVP. IVP general partner Steve Harrick, who led the $10 million series A round and took part in the series B round, is now a member of Personal Capital board of directors, adds Business Journal. Venrock partner Brian Ascher has also joined the board following the $15 million series B round led by Venrock.
