China Power Investment will invest approximately $6 billion in Guinea refineries.

China Power Investment will invest approximately $6 billion in Guinea refineries, Bloomberg reports. The money will be used to develop bauxite and alumina refineries at Boffa. The Beijing-based energy company will also build a port to remove ore from the area. The facilities will initially produce 12 million tons annually of bauxite along with four million tons of alumina.
