GFI Group has conducted the first matching of dry freight forward freight agreement (FFA) trades on its electronic platform EnergyMatch Europe. The screen allows trading in co-mingled markets and provides customers with the choice of CCP for clearing.
Also, U.K. and European power and gas, coal, fuel oil, emissions and wet freight FFAs can be traded electronically on the platform. Iron ore will also be included in the range. GFI Dry Freight provides clients with alternatives in their method of execution, such as voice-brokered, hybrid and fully electronic via matching and Join-the-Trade.
