Smartling has secured $10 million in a Series B round of venture capital financing. New investor IDG Ventures along with existing investors U.S. Venture Partners, Venrock and First Round Capital took part in the fundraising process.
The Translation Delivery Network company will use the proceeds to expand its team and technology platform to democratize web and mobile application localization. Steve Krausz, general partner with U.S. Venture Partners, has joined Smartling’s board of directors.
