Citi Wins Australian Custody Mandate

Investment management firm Orbis has appointed Citigroup as custodian and fund administrator for its Australian funds.

Investment management firm Orbis has appointed Citigroup as custodian and fund administrator for its Australian funds, Financial Standard reports. Trading for the Australian funds will be linked with Citi’s custody and accounting platforms.

The service, provided by Citi’s institutional clients group’s unit Global Transaction Services, will consist of retail registry service and automated trade management system. Citi, who currently supports Orbis in Bermuda, London and Vancouver, manages $12 trillion of custody assets globally.
