The St. David’s Foundation has donated around $9.2 million in grants to 32 local organizations, Austin American-Statesman reports. The donation includes a $3 million research grant to the University of Texas School of Nursing meant for study of health care for underserved populations. The grant for UT’s School of Nursing will support the center for health promotion and disease prevention research in underserved populations. The donations were also made to People’s Community Clinic, the Sustainable Food Center and Communities in Schools.
