Carnegie Mellon Uni Gets $2.5M Grant

Kushagra Bajaj has donated $2.5 million to endow a professorship in Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.

Kushagra Bajaj has donated $2.5 million to endow a professorship in Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, Business Journal reports. The grant will endow the Bajaj Family Chair and be held by a professor to be chosen by the university’s president.

Bajaj, who is vice chairman of Indian conglomerate Bajaj Group, is providing the donation through his family foundation. Bajaj Group has businesses in power generation, coal mining, ethanol production and other areas with revenue of over $1 billion.
