BlackRock has hired Andrew Swan as head of its Asian equities team, Financial Times reports. He will replace Nick Scott and is also likely to take control of two Luxembourg-based funds, the BGF India Fund and the BGF Asian Dragon Fund.
Previously, Swan served at JP Morgan Asset Management as a regional investment manager within the Pacific Regional Group in Hong Kong. Prior to that, he worked with Prudential Asset Management as Asian CIO and then as CEO.
