Janus Capital Group has unveiled a capital protection mutual fund (MF) to offer daily liquidity with no set maturity date. BNP Paribas will provide capital protection for the Janus Protected Series – Growth fund.
The offering will allocate its assets to domestic large cap equities, cash and cash equivalents, U.S. Treasuries, short index futures and other risk reducing instruments. The vehicle seeks to balance capital appreciation and capital protection assisted by BNP Paribas’ risk allocation methodology.
