State Street Global Advisors senior managing director for the U.K. and Middle East, Kanesh Lakhani, has stepped down from his role, Financial News reports. He has been working with the firm for the past 13 years. Lakhani is set to join First State Investments. In his new role, he will become head of distribution in a team led by managing director, Gary Withers, at the international arm of Colonial First State Global Asset Management.
